By default (after installation), the .NET Framework does not allow a workstation to run .NET code from a network drive. If you wish to run the NeoData program from a network drive (the recommended approach), the Framework's security configuration must be changed.

To configure a workstation to allow .NET Framework 1.1 code to run from a network drive, do the following:

1.  In Administrative Tools, launch the .NET Framework 1.1 Configuration applet.
2.  In the left-hand panel, expand Runtime Security Policy.
3.  Expand Machine.
4.  Expand Code Groups.
5.  Expand All Code.
6.  Right-click on LocalIntranet_Zone and select Properties.
7  Click on the Permission Set tab and change the Permission Set property to FullTrust.
8.  Save your changes.
