You can determine if the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 is installed by checking for one or both of the following:

1.  There should be a "Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Configuration" applet in the Administrative Tools folder. You can open the Administrative Tools folder from the Configuration Panel.

2.  A C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\V1.1.4322 directory should be present on the local C: drive. For Windows 2000, "C:\Windows" will be "C:\WinNT". If you have a V1.0.3705 directory but no V1.1.4322 directory, you only have Version 1.0 of the Framework and you must install Version 1.1.

You can obtain the installation package for the Framework Version 1.1 from Microsoft or from the Program Updates page on this web site.
